I got up this morning anxious to see how the snow had changed the landscape in the light of day.
Between the birds and animals scurrying about for food and the sun heating up the snow, there were beautiful avalanches of snow just falling everywhere.
There’s something about a snowstorm that makes you smile and brings back childhood memories of lying down on the ground and making snow angels, being so bundled up you could barely breath or move – and still nothing stopped us. Windburned cheeks, wet, frozen fingertips and toes so cold they felt like they were burning. Everyone should experience a snowstorm at least once in their life. I like the way the snow muffles the sounds around and makes that quiet silence that makes you feel like one with nature.
